Q: QuestionThe gravity hose does not reach our drain. How do I set it up to pump with the longer hose, into our drain. Do i cut the plastic tip off the nozzle to put the hose on the pump end? I do npot see a button on the control panel for the pump. IS it automatic?

- A:Answer Please do not cut any part of the unit! To set up the pump drainage and reach your drain with the longer hose, please follow these steps: Switch Hoses: Replace the short gravity hose with the 236.22-inch (approx. 20 ft) pump drain hose provided. This longer hose is specifically designed for the pump outlet. Activate the Pump: You can activate the pump function by pressing and holding the Power button for 5 seconds. You should see an indicator light once it's engaged. Automatic Operation: Once activated, the pump will automatically discharge water once the internal reservoir reaches a certain level, allowing it to pump vertically or over long distances. Gravity Alternative: If you prefer to stay with gravity drainage but the standard 78.74-inch hose is too short, you can simply use a garden hose adapter to connect any standard long garden hose to the gravity port. This setup ensures the unit drains safely and efficiently without damaging the machine.
