It will not. Only a PCIe 4.0 M2 NVMe SSD will work for the expandable storage in the PS5.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The PS5 does have a m.2 with pcie 4.0 support however sony has not enabled it so you cant use it at this point even if you plug it in. Wait for sony to enable the port in coming weeks or months.
