- Answer As long as it supports gen4 and can fit full size m.2 drives then yes. It would still work as gen 3 but at that point you're better off saving money and buying gen 3 drives.

- Answer It is advisable to get heatsink for sustained performance. You can buy cheap heatsink on Amazon with many tutorials on YouTube. However it should work just fine without one too.

- Answer It would fit but would have performance issues. I don't believe WD claims compatibility. The PS5 requires a heatsink on the memory - might overheat. It's read speed is below Sony's recommended 5500MBps. Best Buy lists in the title if they are PS5 compatible or not.

QuestionDoes it have a DRAM cache? Or is it a cacheless drive? From what I can find, it appears to be a cacheless drive at this price point, you could save money with the Acer Predator GM7000 with a DRAM cache which would be faster and more stable.
