Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Since gen3 and gen4 are cross compatible you do not need to worry about that. They should both be M key so that should not be a problem. The only problem you may run into is the form factor. The 770 only comes in the 2280 form factor while the 530 comes in 2242, 2280, or 2230. If the 530 you have is the 2280 form factor then you should be good. If it is not you must make sure that the laptop or pc supports the 2280 form factor. I think that all PCs will support 2280. If you are installing into a laptop I cannot say for sure. If you have any more questions feel free to respond.
