No, not at all. There is a you tube tutorial from WD that shows step by step how to do it. You just need a computer repair tool kit (mainly the screw driver). Be sure to use the ASUS cloud backup tool before you switch the hard drive drive out or you will have to do a full rebuild instead of a cloud restore.
