While the Mac Studio DOES have a physically removable SSD, only the SSD that the system was shipped with and recognized by the T2 chip will work with the system. This means no 3rd party SSD will work with the Mac Studio. Please know that the WD BLACK SN770M Internal SSD PCIe Gen 4 x4 M.2 2230 Form Factor Drive is designed for ROG Ally & Steam Deck.. So, if the host device has an M.2 2230 slot then it should work on the mentioned device. Also, we always recommend contacting the host device manufacturer support for more compatibility information.
