Sony has yet to release a list of compatible SSDs, but many are guessing this will be one. I would hold off for a curated list from PlayStation before I’d preorder or purchase one now.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, very much so... don't believe me? Believe what the manufacturer said. They verified it is.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes--in fact the highest-rated compatible drive by IGN. You can get this version and add your own heatsink, or get the version with the built-in heatsink.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes this most likely will be the 1st one that will be fully compatible for PS5 but like the other guy said wait till sony confirms it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sony has not released an official list of compatible nvme ssds for the PS5 yet, however they have said 5500MB/s reads is what they are looking for and this ssd is rated for 7000MB/s so I personally would feel confident that this drive will be compatible.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it absolutely is compatible if you have the beta software. You have to apply to Sony to be a beta tester. With that software it will allow you to use your m.2 expansion and this is in fact compatible. That being said you’ll want a compatible heatsink as well or try to find this drive with the OE heatsink preinstalled.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This probably will be supported by the PS5. Maybe not,but I figured I'd get my preorder in now. I can cancel if it turns out not to be supported.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It says so in the specs
