Compatible with PS5? null

Sony has yet to release a list of compatible SSDs, but many are guessing this will be one. I would hold off for a curated list from PlayStation before I’d preorder or purchase one now.

Yes--in fact the highest-rated compatible drive by IGN. You can get this version and add your own heatsink, or get the version with the built-in heatsink.

Yes this most likely will be the 1st one that will be fully compatible for PS5 but like the other guy said wait till sony confirms it.

Sony has not released an official list of compatible nvme ssds for the PS5 yet, however they have said 5500MB/s reads is what they are looking for and this ssd is rated for 7000MB/s so I personally would feel confident that this drive will be compatible.

Yes it absolutely is compatible if you have the beta software. You have to apply to Sony to be a beta tester. With that software it will allow you to use your m.2 expansion and this is in fact compatible. That being said you’ll want a compatible heatsink as well or try to find this drive with the OE heatsink preinstalled.
