Hello, thank you for contacting us. Please know that the WD BLACK SN850P Internal SSD PCIe Gen 4 x4 is an exclusive heatsink design with the PlayStation® logo and is optimized for the M.2 slot of the PlayStation®5 console. It can be installed internally in the PS5 console.

You just have to remove the cover where the disk goes, then remove another cover that has a Phillips and you’re able to plug it in, it’s really simple and if you need help PlayStation made a video on YouTube on how to do it.
