- Answer The drive works fine with a HP Pavilion Power 580-023w Desktop PC. It is blank, Windows has to be gotten somewhere else i.e. Microsoft. Find someone who can help.

- Answer Yes, but it will be slower than the one you are replacing (7200 RPM vs. 5400 RPM). Both are SATA drives, so there should be no issue.
