Hi, GT..... Don't quote me, but I'm almost certain Lap Top hard disk drives are different than desktop hard disk drives. Just guessing and remembering some of my readings, I'd say, no. Soren

No. This is a 3.5" hard drive; most laptops require a 2.5" hard drive and some (though few) require an even smaller microdrive. Best to consult Lenovo's support webpage. Don't forget that you will need cloning software to transfer your data to a new drive, or if the old drive is dead you will need the recovery disk that either came with the laptop or that you created right after unboxing the new laptop.
