Hi Tklim. You'll need to use a laptop-size drive for your PS4 if you want to use an internal one. Otherwise you can use this with an external USB enclosure. I've linked both products.

check to see if the socket connection in the ps4 is sata compliant. if it is and this drive fits in the physical space I would try it

PS4 is a proprietary hard drive operating system which you must clone to any new hard drive

Plug it in. When it asks if you want to format it, select yes. That is about it.

Works on the Xbox one for sure, so I am sure it will work on a ps4
