Can I use this in my 2008 MacBook? null

This particular drive does not work in any version of a MacBook.

Sorry no. This won’t work for anything but an actual pc tower or the biggest laptops. From looking it up on google quickly, it looks like your 2008 MacBook uses a 2.5” wide hdd for laptops. For the money now days, you could get a decent ssd to replace it. They’re faster as well as there are no moving parts in them either. There is a step-by-step guide on ifixit on how to replace them.
