I bought 3 of these as storage drives for a server I built while they aren't the best choice for what I'm doing. I didn't need to worry about reliability since my data is stored on another NAS with WD Reds and offsite using a backup service. I just needed cheap storage that worked I've been running these on an Ubuntu server using docker to run Plex which is working out great. it also runs a few other VMs for development. For the price these drives are good I'm planning on buying a few more as backups or other applications. For normal users that just need to expand their storage or replace a hard drive definitely consider this these are great hard drives for desktops and normal everyday tasks I have a 1TB WD Blue in one of my desktops from when I built it ~2012 running almost 24/7 and is still working without an issue.

You can't go wrong with Western Digital. This drive is very fast, stores a lot of information, and was very easy to install. As an IT professional I always opt for Western Digital drives over any other brand.

I purchased this HDD as a secondary drive to add to my desktop with an internal drive of 500GB. This drive is great for storage and now, I can finally free up space from my primary drive without the need of attempting to transfer to an external HDD.

I bought this hard drive for a total restart of a system that had the hard drive go bad. install was great speed is great this is a great device.

I had bought another one of these with a completely different part number, but it turns out the only difference was the box it was packaged in. This one comes in a brown cardboard box, the other, a WDBH2D0020 was the exact same storage space, a WD "Blue" drive, but with a pretty blue box that you throw away anyway. Buy the cheaper one, whichever is on sale when you need it. Or whichever is available, the WDBH2D may be last year's model that was superseded by the WD20EZRZ

Bought it for extra storage in my linux machine. It's a reasonably priced drive that does what you expect. The speed is a bit slower than my original disk, but as a backup, it is OK.

Bought a docking station earlier, and have not used until this drive arrived. Formatting was a slight pain initially, mostly due to my computer, but once done, has been working well so far. Using to store videos that I have. Just hope it does not fail early.

I've only been using it a couple of weeks and it's reliable so far. It's a decent amount of storage at a reasonable price. I almost went for the higher end black model, but I back up my data anyway and I've never had any drive fail on me yet.

I bought this hard drive because I needed a good amount of storage for all of my mixed media, games, movies, music, composition software, and there is still plenty of room on it as my library grows. Fast access and quiet

this is a great replacement or additional hard drive.it's fast enough for everyday use.the only bad thing isthat it does not come with a cable.if you buy it to add storage you need to purchase a cable in order for it to work.

This is a great hard drive for a great price. I needed way more storage capacity than I previously had, and feel fortunate to have found a large capacity HD at a fair price to fit the bill. All my heavy resource demand games play off of it without stoppage, so access times are not an issue, though be fair, my ram is huge and my cpu is the king so if the rest of your pc is not extreme, you may have a slightly different experience, but I wouldn't worry about it. Video stored on it should be fine.

The performance of this hard drive is excellent and is quiet.

I get 2-4 of these per year, same model now for the past few years and I haven't had a single problem with any of them for my back-up purposes. I haven't had a problem with any internal hard drives from Western Digital in 15+ years, I have had problems with Passports and MyBooks so I stick with the internals and an external rack.

Its been a long time since i got engaged in a game until i got this one, plus the switch unit with the unique characterization is awesome! Playing with the pokeball is a bit tricky since you A is on your stick and can move on you.
