Please try again later.OzMoses, according to a bit of info I've read up on and from past experiences with older generation Gigabyte boards you actually need a program from Gigabyte that would allow you to utilize larger drives, this should address your problem. Ironically they don't show it on the driver or utility pages for your motherboard, but this is for all boards that would require it to recognize all the un-allocated space giving you the 3TB or roughly 2.92TB after formatting, give or take a couple gigabytes. http://www.gigabyte.com/microsite/276/3tb.html
