You'll have to back up your data files first, then install this hard drive and do a clean install of your OS. If you want to clone your old hard drive onto your new one then you'll have several choices. Take it to a computer shop like BestBuy Geek or your local repair store to migrate and clone both drives. If you're tech savvy then you already know how to do this. It's not hard.
