• Dear Royce; Sure, your ASUS K55a should match this SATA drive. The plug-ins are right, so it should be a match. If you want the better model, pick the WD 1 TB HD instead. This will give you more flexibility, more space, and better speed. To me, either one is a winner. Hope that helps.
