“I've read online some are red drives and some are white label drives. I have 2, not sure what drives are in them, but does the white drives have the same specs as a red drive... i.e.: 24x7 running, heat, etc. I have mine plugged into a my cloud and router”

No, hence why there are black, white, red, blue drives. Not all are the same. Most of these are the cheap-o drives. A few higher stat drives made it into the assy line but not often and they are not the same.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.White label and red label in the 8 and 10 terrabyte drives are effectively identical if the easystore is made in Thailand. The only difference seen is the firmware ID. Look at the bottom of the box to see if it is from Thailand or China.
