You have to plug in the power adapter to the wall socket and USB Cable to the USB Port of the computer to use the drive. • The pc tower will have your main usb ports, unless you have an All-In-One computer, it should not be connected to the screen. Though you can use an USB hub extension, it is still best to connect to one of your main usb ports. https://products.wdc.com/library/UM/ENG/4779-705169.pdf
