How do I get it to work on a xbox1 null

Connect the USB from the hard drive into one of the USB ports on your xbox one. Then go into the sgirage settings and change the primary storage to the hard drive

Go to Settings and then Storage and from there you just have to select the hard drive and let Xbox Format the external hard drive.
