“Can this be used as a 2nd hard drive to just backup files from several laptops, and do it manually. Just create a folder and copy files to the folder and have a folder for each laptop. I'm not interested in the automatic backup feature. Thanks”

• Yes, this hard drive can be used as if it is an existing hard drive. Folders and files can be created and moved onto or off of it.

• you don't have to use the auto backup software; you can even format it to make sure it just appears as another disk.
