“I have 2 WD back up hard drives that are full. I want to replace them with 2- 4 terabyte WD drives is this a good choice or should I go with the either "G" hard drive or the Lacie Porsche drive. I am only interested in backing files, photos (25,000) etc”

• Good idea, consider the 8 gig units also. I would not trust the Lacie.

• It depends on the size of your 2 WD HDDs. if they are both 1GB then yes, 4 GB would be perfect. But also, you mentioned you store your photos in there, you should probably buy an extra HDD for backup. If both your WD are 2GB and a combined of 4GB total, then you should buy an 8GB HDD. Always buy the double the capacity. Hope this helps.
