I bought it for an older Macbook Pro...worked like a charm! Specs say good for Windows or Mac based machine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Most modern Windows laptops would support the USB 3.0 connector of a WD Easystore 4 Tb. Simply plug it into your laptop. I believe you could also use it with an MACBOOK Pro or other Apple laptop if you first formatted it - but I have not actually verified it. Power it up, connect it to your Macbook Pro, go to Disk Utilities and choose MAC OS Extended and click Erase. Also - not sure about booting from this as an external drive on a Macbook.
