• You can use with PS4 normal. All you have to do is always have it plugged directly into a USB port (so if you have keyboard and earpiece dongle, get a usb splitter for other port to share on the splitter) the drive requires a straight into PS4 port then follow the format video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQxD7VMEUrw

• In comparison to a PS4 Pro? Yes, it will work for a PS4 "normal" without doing anything special.

• When you first plug it into the PS4 it'll ask you to format the hard drive. Push X to do so. Once you do that it'll work just fine on PS4.
