Yes. I currently use it for my PS4 and my PS4 pro. You just have to format the hard drive once you connect it to the ps4, but its super simple and anyone can do it. You literally just follow the steps and takes about 1 minute or so.

Only as an external drive. You can't take drive out and swap it with ps4 drive as it is soldered into portable case.

No, it completely wiped my data and doesn't work at all
