Although it will work with either an Xbox One or PS4, they store and encrypt files in different ways. You would need a separate external drive for each.

Yes it works with Ps4 and Xb1
But i dont think you can partitionate to use it with both systems.

No. The system writes it's own program on to the hard drive. If you put this on the other console it will erase everything and format it for that system at the time.
