I own Mac/Apple products and work has PCs. I own 4 of these and use them on both. Simply Google formatting an external drive for Mac and PC, and you should be good to go. These things are great!

Yes. Format the portable drive to a file system readable by both Windows and MacOS such as exFAT. I have several flash drives formatted to exFAT and can switch between Windows and MacOS with no problems.

Yes works with both operating systems. You can swap back and forth with no problems.

It works on both my PC and MAC. However, I have to use a USB adapter for my MAC since it doesn't have a direct USB port.

I believe it is formatted from the factory for a PC. To use it with a MAC, it must be re-formatted using the MAC's disk tools.
