Yes. We have a bunch of these drives and most are connected to older Macs with USB 2.0-only ports. They work great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, USB 3.0 is backwards compatible with USB 1 and 2.0. It uses the same USB-A plug on the computer side of the included cable. Obviously, the speed at which data moves will be limited by the version of USB your computer is capable of.
