Yes. However, Ddta will transfer at the slower 2.0 speeds - in other words it'll take longer to move large files to/from the disk.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe it's backward compatible. I'm using it in conjunction with an older WD drive that's usb 2.0, both plugged into an external 7 port usb non powered hub, coming off of the usb port of a Lenovo Ideapad.
