It must be plugged into the 3.0 slot on the left. Also plug it in while the system is completely shut down. Boot it up and look at the storage under settings. I believe it asks to use the device one time as extra storage, just say yes.

It comes ready to work on a pc/microsoft computers, but must be reformatted for use on Apple/Mac computers. And it won't work for both, it's a one or another drive. So maybe since the gaming devices are different? Just a thought. I am SURELY no expert on this.
