• 1 year from WD and you can get a two year from Bestbuy.

• http://support.wdc.com/warranty/policy.asp#extwarranty - It comes with a two year warranty, and you can purchase an extended warranty as long as the initial warranty is less than 3 years.

• The warranty as stated on the box is a limited 2 year warranty through WD. This will not cover accidents, but would cover a failing drive, power adapter, or cable.

• 1 Year (30 days for basic install). The only warranty extension I am aware of would be through a third party (like Best Buy).

• It comes with a 2 year limited parts and labor warranty and yes you can purchase the extended warranty.
