It will improve level and map load times; highly doubtful that it will improve anything else.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on the speed of the drive. I personally got a cheap 500gb SSD in a USB 3.0 enclosure hooked up my mine and it is WAY faster. This hard drive may not be too much faster than internal, because this drive isn't designed for speed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have noticed some speed increases but not enuff to make a difference. For the price there is nothing in my mind that compares to it. It was extremely easy to set up. I plugged it in, my One immediately recognized it and asked if future saves needed to be saved to the device. Some people dont like having an ac plug, but i have a large strip so it really didnt bother me.
