• Although I haven't used this on my windows 10 PC I really see no reason why this wouldn't work with it. Windows should see it as just any other drive at the very least.

• Yes, just disconnect before you install Windows 10, then reconnect after the install is complete then reboot, the drive will show up with no problems.
