It is no longer being sold on the WD website; however, it is being sold in BestBuy this is probably due to the current supply levels of this product. However, the drive is fully warrantied by the manufacturer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can't answer in general, but the one I bought had many errors on the drive right out of the box. It seemed to work fine after I cleaned them up with Windows scan disk, but I'm worried about the reliability, so I sent it back.

Please try again later.ive have 2 of them. one for a few months, just got a second one. after taking a chance on a couple seagates, both of which died within 6 months losing tons of data, i am sticking with WD. have some external WD's that have been on 24/7 for 3-4 years now, still working great

Please try again later.I think it's quite the opposite, a newly released one, that is only sold at best buy and another store. from research inside you will get most likely a Green or Blue both physically the same, and both 5400rpm. so any reviews on 2tb-4tb-6tb "my book" should apply to this. this just has an odd low price point compared to the other "my book", but WD doesn't have a lower series than Green or Blue, so should be a great quite drive, just wish the head park timing was not as low as 8sec, but that is the case of all Green and Blue
