• As long as your computer has the usb input for it, you'll be fine. Your computer will definitely pick it up once you plug it in.

• Yes, I have a WD 3.0TB and a WD 5.0TB HD connected at the same time. No problems.

• You can connect more than one hard drive to your computer, as many as you can but all of them will be independently one from each other.
