No, I access it from my Mac, my laptop, my iPad, my iPhone and my SmartTV.

Please try again later.Hi I don't see why it couldn't be setup the way you want to do it BUT the My Cloud device needs to be part of a network that is wired (Ethernet cable) then it runs through your WiFi/router/modem or however you have it setup. It DOES NOT have stand alone built in WiFi capabilities. The main program on your PC / MAC and the App for your phone or tablet access your network and route the files to the My Cloud via the network. Just FYI...I run my MY CLOUD through a PC and use my phone and table. My setup is...PC...Android Phone...Android Tablet....Hope you have some patience it's not a slam dunk install (at least it wasn't for me) BUT I used the 30 day FREE setup help phone number...The help was excellent and my system runs fine.
