Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you cannot extend the DVR capacity, you can only replace the internal drive with an external drive to increase, decrease or keep the capacity the same.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The last time I checked the Direct TV DVR files are encrypted and can't be moved out of the DVR.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wouldn't recommend nor use it for that purpose. I would delete all the videos you don't watch anymore.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I currently use an Seagate Central 4Tb storage device, which I recently updated to. I love the product and the storage space it affords me. I have many photo's, multimedia projects, music and movies stored and I still more room for, at least 3 times as much. These are files and projects accumulated over a period of 6 years. I would suggest you investigate the possibility of owning one. There are many options for your situation, I'm sure that if you look, you'd be quite surprised, and very satisfied.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately this drive is not designed to work with DVRs. The WD My Cloud 3TB Personal Cloud Storage External hard Drive is intended to be used in a network environment by connecting it for example to a router via the ethernet cable provided and hence make it available for other devices(Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows XP (SP 3) operating systems, Mac OS X Mountain Lion, Lion, or Snow Leopard operating systems or DLNA/UPnP devices for streaming) within your network. You may wish to look at the My Book AV DVR Expander which is specifically designed to be used with a wide range of DVRs' and other AV devices. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, I don't believe this would be a good option. My Cloud is more of a NAS storage device and not a external hard drive. the My Book may be better or other external drive. I'd check with directv so see what's compatible.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I own the WD - My Cloud 2TB, and I hate it with a passion. Please take my advise and find a different product. Don't want other people to go through this pain.
