It does go into a sleep/stand by mode, but does not completely turn off. I need it to be completely accessible. I access the cloud frequently when I'm not at home to upload items to save from my phone, tablet or laptop as well as access items from the cloud when I'm on the go and don't have the mobile device or home desktop where I saved a particular file.
