Sure thing! Just create individual folders for each person. Next, send an email invite to each person. Once those emails added to your dashboard (using the included software with the device) you can then set permissions for each folder. Example; Person 1 can only save to Person 1's folder (and from their end, that's the only folder they see), Person 2 can only save to Person's 2 folder, and so forth. To network each path individually, just click on the folder icon in the taskbar (Windows Explorer). Under network you should see you MyCloud device. When you click on it, you will then see the "Public" folder (along with any other default folders from WD) AND you will now see you newly created folders for each person. Just right-click on the folder name you want to map, and click "Map Network Drive". Your computer will then automatically add that folder under the heading "Computer" in the menu on the left of Windows Explorer. Hope that helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the drive can be configured for multiple people. I have 5 different people setup with their own folders. Folders can be mapped on the local network like any mapped drive. I don't know if you can allocate a specific amount of space for each user though and I haven't set password restrictions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, multiple directories are easily configured.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yeah you can add as many users as you want. They can even have their own folders that only they can see
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. And passwords are optional. You set shares and limit access by user name.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. You can setup individual users and permissions allowing them to access only those folders on the drive you allow. And using one of a variety of network connection methods (depending on the OS you are connecting from) you can create a mapped drive that is mounted or bookmarked on the users client computers and devices.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, each person can have their own folder to put what ever they like on the drive. I'm not so sure you can allocate a set amount of space on the drive. It is not accessed using a drive letter, you use the program that came with the drive to get in through the home network or internet.
