Yes. Streaming a 1080p video to my Macbook, iPhone, or iPad. I did find that there was some extra buffer time loading files when streaming to my Android device, but i have not experienced any problems with it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It streams fine on my home wifi network. No performance issues. I use it to watch movies in either of these two ways: 1) on my iPad with the WD MyCloud mobile app. 2) on my laptop through file manager. Also works on Chromebook using the SMB/CIFS plugin, although Chromebook has a limited codec support.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Can be used for WiFi video streaming, but stopping intermittently.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have used this with my Samsung smart tv and it works very well. I use Plex and stream wirelessly. The biggest factors will be whether your router has the bandwidth and if your receiving device is powerful enough to receive the data fast enough.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have one and found that streaming video over my home wifi is good. There is a dependency on the quality of your home wifi to start with. I've been quite disappointed with the performance of accessing my My Cloud's content remotely (outside my home network). In those cases it seems slow at times.
