“Does the my cloud have to be connected by the Ethernet cable to the router or can it be done wireless”

• The MyCloud is connected to your wireless router via an ethernet cable to a plugin port on the router. Now your wireless devices connect to the MyCloud through the wireless router, then on the Ethernet cable to MyCloud.

• My mycloud is connected to the router via cable. I do not believe I can connect it wirelessly.

• To make a connection, either will work however, some phone backup applications will not work when device is connected via Wi-Fi (need to plug the NAS into the HUB).
