No, you cannot do the Daisy chain. I recommend you look at Synology NAS. I will buy a 4 storage bay and the operating system is one of the best.

Please try again later.I Daisy chain a couple other drives via the USB, they are just a bunch of drives so I cant say if you would have serving capability, I could get files but media serving off them wasn't working well. I think there are techniques for the EX2 to create shares on my setup, but i was just configured for USB pass through. It might be cheaper just to get non server drives and setup the shares.
