QuestionI plugged it into my wii u and reformatted it. It still won't let me install game data to it. What should I do? I already purchased a usb y in case it wasn't receiving enough power.

- Answer I have a xbox one s and I had to format it as well.There should be a storage menu on your console and you have to choose which one to enable to save data on.This was something I figured out by trouble shooting the same problem that you have now.

QuestionI am working in both Windows10 and MacOSX enviroments and need to dependably switch video and image files in ADOBE SUITE between these words. This drive was described as useful for this process. Unfortunately, its been a "no go" with MAC Files. HELP!

- Answer Contact Western Digital for this information, or check their support section of their web site. I believe you are asking for proprietary information. Please note, this is HARDWARE encryption. Just curious, but why are you asking about where WD stores their keys? That sounds like someone is looking into a security threat as opposed to protecting their data.

- Answer Yes as an external drive via USB 3.0. NOTE: internal drive mechanism has a USB 3.0 connector and not a SAS/SATA connector, purchase an appropriate internal drive for that purpose.

QuestionWill this hard drive work with a USB to eSATA adapter? I plan to use this to expand the storage space for my Motorola DVR.

- Answer Check the internals. The drive might be SATA internally to begin with and might just be able to open shell and hook up directly. But adapter cables should work as well
