You should contact Western Digital or go to their support forums for an answer. Your chances of finding a solution would be much better there than here.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I did not use the software that came with my WD external hard drive. With Plug & Play enabled with Windows 10, I never saw the need to use the packaged software. My WD works fine without it.
