It works with my PlayStation 4 Slim. The drive formatted in seconds to use. Sony states to keep using the internal drive only for downloading purchased games. I'm currently using the external drive for updates & saved data for my games.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes great for PlayStation. It is easy to install but your PlayStation will format it when you plug it in so you will have to use it for just the PlayStation and nothing else. I have a separate drive for PS4 and one for my MacBook Pro.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ever since Sony put out the 4.5 update to connect an external hard drive, I have had no problems thus far. My external hard drive is connected to my PlayStation 4 Slim. I currently have updates & saved game data on it. Sony does warn that if you purchase online games to download, that to have the game install on the internal & NOT the external drive.
