• It is formatted for a Mac. Some files are accessible by both Windows & PC. Just know that .exe files would save but wouldn't be accessible to your Mac as .dmg files wouldn't be accessible to your PC.

• Yes. It comes out of the box formatted for a Mac but they can be reformatted for a PC. I am currently using it for a mac and it works great.
