“At the end of a back-up a message comes out and says....eject properly or words to that effect.....what is the proper way to remove the cable after the back-up is complete?”

• Hi Joe2158, Please know that the My Passport for Mac portable storage supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Superspeed USB) USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 Interface. In the Finder sidebar, click the Eject button next to the item’s name. Then you should remove the cable or drive.
