• Yes you will. I purchased this because I had ran out of room on my MacBook Pro. It was freezing or taking for ever to perform simple tasks. What I found was iCloud was storing my files in the cloud and on my drive so I decided to use my iCloud for basic office files and transferred videos and photos onto this drive. Performs better than expected! Highly recommend
