• That depends on the songs format and average length, but assuming mp3 or AAC (the default format in iTunes) files of average length (3-4 minutes per song), this drive would hold somewhere between 300,000 and 600,000 songs. For 99% of people this would be excessive for just storing music.

• Greatly depends on quality/length/format of song file. Normal CD quality MP3 of average length song? Probably 30,000 - 35,000 songs.

• It depends on the quality of the song. If it is a 128 kbp quality, and if we consider an average of 3 minutes for each song and 3 minutes eaquals about 3 MB, we could say: 2TB=2000000MB, so : about 600,000 songs
