Hi! We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with aligning the propane tank onto your Traveler. Try pushing the LP cylinder into the regulator and turn clockwise until tight. With the LP cylinder in place, the release lever of the cart becomes locked, preventing the grill from being lowered. We would love to help if you still need assistance.
