Thank you for your question! This amplifier most certainly will work with an AT&T hotspot given the proper parameters are met. The first being that the amplifier needs a fairly decent outside signal for the amplifier to work. If you're able to make and keep a call outside, then you should be okay as far as getting amplification. Our Drive Sleek might be a better option since we were having heating issues with the unit, which the sleek does not have that issue. However, the size of the hotspot may not be able to work very effectively as far as keeping the hotspot secure since they typically are smaller in size. They can fit an iPhone 5S, barely keeping it inside the cradle, anything smaller might have to be velcroed in to allow it to be usable in the cradle.
